Senior Electrical Engineer

The Senior Project Engineer will be based in the Project Execution Department in Istanbul and will be responsible for the overall project execution including project design, tendering, technical office and interactions with other partners for renewable energy projects in Turkey and abroad. These projects will be Eksim Energy's ongoing and under development projects. The senior project engineer will work closely with relevant departments within the company such as purchasing, project development, photogrammetry accounting, construction, contract management and legal. This job may require short-term domestic and international travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project execution activities abroad and engage with partners.
• Define deliverables for stakeholders to fulfill procurement requirements.
• Reviewing specifications and proposals for tender processes.
• Preparation of approximate cost for feasibility studies prepared by the business development department, supporting internal investment decisions.
• Assist relevant departments to identify contract/tender risks and recommend solutions.
• Preparing provisional acceptance and domestication approval documents requested by the Ministry.
• To fulfill other duties within the department's area of responsibility.
• Working closely with team members and relevant departments in all activities related to the project life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electrical&Electronics), preferably from reputable universities
• Min. 5 years of experience in renewable power projects
• Understanding of tender organization and project management
• Understanding of wind and solar energy technologies, and battery energy storage systems applications
• Understanding of good industrial practise of renewable power plants
• Good command of English
• Proficiency with MS Office and Autocad
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks

Preferred Prior Experience

• Experience in renewable energy sector
• Experience in 154 kV and 110 kV Substation projects
• Experience in site works
